On the 27th of July, 27 busy executives and franchise holders from Coca Cola and Burger King took a day off from a 3-day corporate meeting in Park City, Utah to volunteer at Timpanogos Cave National Monument. The group regularly devotes one day of their meetings toward community service projects. The close proximity of Timpanogos Cave to their meeting made it a perfect venue for them to make a contribution to an area appreciated and enjoyed by a large segment of Utahs population. The group devoted their time to some critical maintenance needs at three locations. These hardworking volunteers expertly applied a fresh coat of paint to the restroom and bridges in the Swinging Bridge picnic area, the trim, doors and roof of the 1928 bathhouse in the historic district, and the newly installed skirting and trim on the temporary visitor center. The monument provided 30 gallons of paint while the group provided brushes, rollers, buckets, drop cloths and plenty of energy. The group donated more than 135 hours of much appreciated service to the monument.
