Native American craft demonstrators, dancers, musicians and speakers gathered at Saguaro National Park recently for its ninth annual American Indian Cultural Heritage Fair.
Tribal nations represented included the Tohono O’odham, Pascua Yaqui, White Mountain Apache, Navajo and Pueblo Acoma.
Each year Saguaro celebrates our nation’s rich American Indian culture and highlights the connection with its local tribes, whose history and culture are interwoven into the park’s diverse stories.
This year’s event was coordinated by rangers Rena Bob and Richard Hill. Financial support was generously provided by the Friends of Saguaro National Park and the Western National Parks Association.
