Draft SAR Guideline Out For Comment

The Branch of Emergency Services has released a draft search and rescue reference manual. RM-59 establishes the policy and procedural framework for the management of NPS SAR programs. 

Comments on the draft RM are due by August 15th. 

All comments must be submitted using the RM-59 comment matrix (.xls) to Dean Ross, Branch Chief of Emergency Services (dean_ross@nps.gov).  Comments should be limited to critical and substantive issues and must provide a recommended solution or wording.
