EEO Program Plan Summary Posted

Perhaps now more than ever, with the increasing demands and public expectations of governmental agencies, the National Park Service must position itself to improve the attraction, recruitment, development and retention of a top quality diverse workforce that can deliver results and ensure the preservation and conservation of our natural and historical treasures.

Equal opportunity in the workplace is vital to accomplishing this goal.  The NPS has accordingly developed and implemented a MD-715 Equal Employment Opportunity Plan with strategic actions based upon the six essential elements established by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
