Scranton, PA â Steamtown National Historic Site will partner with the City of Carbondale by operating a special excursion to the cityâs âSummer Celebration and Heritage Music and Wine Festivalâ at the Pioneer City Train Station on Saturday, June 20, 2009. The special heritage train will depart the Steamtown NHS Boarding Platform at 10:00 a.m. and return at approximately 4:00 p.m.
Music starts at 11:45 a.m. with such acts as National Recording Artist "Jason O," followed by a Frank Sinatra Tribute by Scranton's Chris DiMattio and other local musicians. The downtown family fun extravaganza will include food, children activities, crafts, art vendors, exhibits and much more. Tickets are: $25 / Person - Includes Train Ride & Admission, $20 / Person - Admission (Advance Sale), $25 / Person - Admission (Day of Event), $10 / Person â Admission, $10 / Person - Train Ride Only.
