The National Park Foundation is awarding grants to superintendents to help them learn how to navigate change, manage fragile public lands, and lead their organizations and partners effectively in order to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
The grants will also be used to:
Develop and disseminate real world case studies and best practices from current and former NPS superintendents that can then be used as learning tools to help prepare NPS leaders to handle current issues of great significance within the National Park Service;
Bring outside resources and solutions to park challenges; and
Address 21st Century problems with 21st Century solutions.
