Visitor From Netherlands Killed While Biking On Trace

Esther Hagemen, 51, of the Netherlands was biking south on the parkway near milepost 231 on the afternoon of April 22nd when she was hit from behind by a southbound 2009 GMC Suburban. Rangers, Chickasaw County deputies, and Van Vleet VFD personnel all responded. Hagemen died at the scene. The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation.
