Suicide Victim Found In Chattahoochee River

Local police and fire units responded to a 911 report from a fisherman regarding a body found in an infrequently visited section of the park on the afternoon of March 9th. They found the remains of a 54-year-old Georgia man near the banks of the Chattahoochee River. He’d last been seen on November 8th, but his family hadn’t reported him missing. The medical examiner ruled the death a suicide.
