The U.S. Air Force recently published a newsletter for Congress that details recent airspace actions, their specific locations, flying heights and the status of the airspace approval process. This newsletter, USAF Airspace Update, is published semi-annually.
The Natural Sounds Program also regularly participates in the regional Air Force Airspace/Range Council meetings, where the NPS can bring up concerns it has regarding military overflights. If the Natural Sounds Program finds out about a proposal that may effect any parks, we will contact regions and parks as needed.
