Grand Teton National Park is known worldwide for its breathtaking natural beauty and magnificent wildlife. The park offers a range of recreational activities, scenic mountains, pristine valleys, and numerous species of wildlife. Bald eagles, bison, elk, deer, moose, wolves, and bear are abundant in this area. Recreational activities include fishing, hiking, kayaking, skiing, snowshoeing, and hunting.
Jackson, Wyoming (13 miles from Moose), is a small but thriving community with a hospital, recreation center, basic shopping, movie theaters, art galleries, museums, and most community facilities; additional facilities and shopping are available in Idaho Falls, which is 105 miles from Moose.
