Cuyahoga Valley National Park wins regional Tourism

On Wednesday, May 14, Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau awarded two Zenith Hospitality Awards to Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The Hospitality Partner Award was awarded to the park and park partner Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad for the Bike Aboard! program for demonstrating effectiveness of collaboration in Summit County. Bike Aboard! promotes healthy visits to the park... ride the train one way for $2 and return by bike on the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail.

Park VIP Wendy Mills was awarded the Hospitality Volunteer Award for demonstrating her commitment to the hospitality industry through her time, energy, and generosity. Wendy has donated 1655 hours as a volunteer in visitor centers, helping visitors enjoy park wildlife as part of the Wildlife Watchers program, as an elft in the Polar Express children's program as well as marching in local parades.
