Talk and Book Signing by Acclaimed Author Held at Women’s Rights National Historical Park

Women’s Rights National Historical Park capped off Women’s History Month with a talk and book signing by professor and author Jill Norgren on Saturday, March 29th.  The event was held at the park’s visitor center in Seneca Falls. 


Norgren’s talk centered on Belva Lockwood, the pioneering lawyer and subject of her most recent book, “Belva Lockwood: the Woman Who Would be President.”  Immediately following the talk a book signing took place in the park’s visitor center.  The talk and book signing was hosted by Eastern National in cooperation with the National Park Service.


Norgren is Professor Emeritus of Government at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the Graduate Center, the City University of New York.  She is the author of several books including; “Cherokee Cases” and “Belva Lockwood: the Woman Who Would be President.”
