National Park News

The Guam Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the National Park Service have recovered 27 of the 34 bronze nameplates that were stolen from the Asan Bay Overlook Memorial. The plates were found in Hong Kong. The recovery stemmed from a cooperative effort by the FBI, Hong Kong customs and excise officials, Hong Kong police, the Department of Homeland Security, and Customs and Border Protection. No further arrests have been made. Other details of this investigation will be provided at a later date and time.
