Hiker Falls To Death From Angels Landing

Barry Goldstein, 53, of St. Louis, Missouri, fell to his death while hiking the Angels Landing trail on Friday, June 8th. Park dispatch received a call from family members just before noon, reporting that he’d fallen from the trail at a point between Scouts Lookout and the summit of Angels Landing. Rangers found his body at the base of the cliff. It’s estimated that he fell about a thousand feet. The incident is being investigated by the park and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
