Kathy Smith, administrative officer at Hot Springs National Park, has announced her retirement. She will retire on November 3rd after 30 years with the National Park Service.
Kathy started her career at Buffalo National River in March, 1976. Her career has taken her to Fort Smith National Historic Site, Grand Portage National Monument, Cumberland Gap National Historic Park and Hot Springs National Park, where she will retire to a life of being “Ninny” to three grandsons and shopping the flea markets and antique shops.
