On Wednesday, July 19th, rangers found a marijuana patch in the Bolinas Ridge area and placed the area under surveillance. On Thursday, rangers from Point Reyes and Golden Gate, state park rangers, and members of Marin County’s major crime task force entered the plantation and removed about 2,470 plants with an estimated street value of $3 million. An investigation is underway. Although there was no one at the site, evidence revealed that they’d recently been there.
