Join Park Guide, Gail Schroedl for a journey into the past of Voyageurs National Park. Learn how the birch bark canoe, developed by American Indians and adopted by French Canadian and English traders, made the North American Fur Trade possible.

This Special Speakers program is held at the Woodenfrog State Forest Campground Refectory near Kabetogama, Minnesota from 7:30 – 8:30pm. Programs are sponsored by the Friends of Voyageurs National Park. No fee or registration is required to attend.
