If you ever wanted to know what it was like to fire a black powder weapon, here's your chance. The black powder specialists at the Castillo de San Marcos and Ft Matanzas National Monuments will be conducting classes on firing both cannon and musket utilizing 18th century Spanish procedures.
The cannon class is two days and is scheduled for September 23rd and 24th, 2006. The musket class is only one day and is scheduled for October 8th, 2006.
