National Park Service Sponsors Teacher Day
Dover, Tennessee--Local teachers enjoyed Teacher Day at Fort Donelson National Battlefield on June 13. Elementary, middle, and high school teachers participated in hands-on activities, viewed the new visitor orientation film, and learned more about new educational materials offered by the park.
Fort Donelson National Battlefield offers curriculum-based school programs for K-8 students. Programs are free and are available upon request.
