Closure of the Woodland Nature Trail, Fort Barrancas Area.

The Woodland Nature Trail located at the Fort Barrancas Area is closed to visitors due to hazardous trees that were damaged during Hurricane Ivan and Hurricane Dennis. The dying trees pose a threat to hikers because they could break or fall at any time. Hurricane cleanup continues throughout Gulf Islands National Seashore.
