Cinder-flowers: Spring blooms are starting to appear on the cinders. Large quantities of Dwarf Buckwheat are already blooming with Dwarf Monkeyflower and Scorpionweed not far behind. Peak bloom will likely start in a week or so and continue through June.
Lava-flowers: Lots of Indian Paintbrush blooming on the lava in certain areas.
Others: The yellow flowers of the Antelope Bitterbrush are blooming in profusion. There are also a wide variety of flowers blooming in the sagebrush areas of the Monument.
