Fort Davis National Historic Site Offers $10,000 Reward Concerning Recent Theft
Fort Davis National Historic Site is seeking information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of individuals associated with the recent theft from the park’s museum. On the night of April 11, 2006, individuals broke into the park’s museum and stole a number of historic weapons and artifacts.
A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for this crime. For individuals wishing to remain anonymous, a number, rather than a name, will be assigned to permit follow up and payment of the reward upon conviction.
Please contact John Heiner, Supervisory Park Ranger, at (432) 426-3224 x23 or Chuck Hunt, Acting Superintendent, at (432) 426-3224 x21 if you have any information you believe would be helpful.
