Director Dedicates Park Conference and Research Center

Director Mainella visited the park on Sunday, April 30th, the last day of National Park Week. 

Aside from visiting the park, she was there to send the message that the "Welcome Mat is out at National Parks."  She unveiled the first ever welcome sign to the park.

As it was also National Volunteer Week, she dedicated the park’s new Hopewell Conference and Research Center, a refurbished Mission 66 house, which will provide a meeting space in the park for volunteer organizations.
