With the onset of spring and increased visitation to Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, the ParkLINK Shuttle will begin extended summer hours beginning May 6, 2006. The buses begin operating at 8 a.m. and run through 8 p.m. A full schedule is available on the website
The ParkLINK Shuttle is a three-year demonstration project by the National Park Service and the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.
The shuttle honors MTA transfers and passes. It is equipped with bike racks and storage space for group outings and family tours. Many choose to enjoy the shuttle as an air-conditioned tour of the Santa Monica Mountains, the beach and Mulholland Drive.
ParkLINK runs Saturdays, Sundays, and most holidays. Accompanied kids under 12 ride free. Details can be found at
