Greenbelt Park has been selected to receive a $10,000 grant from REI. The $10,000 grant will help build a bridge on the Perimeter trail. It will come to you through the National Park Foundation. Mal Fordham of REI presented NCP East Superintendent Gayle Hazelwood the check on Thursday April 13th at Greenbelt Park. Greenbelt is one of three National Parks to receive a grant from REI. Rock Creek Park (Washington, D.C.) and the Golden Gate National Recreation area were the other two National Parks.
