Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial is very pleased to announce that its new museum is now open to the public. The new displays replace the 1960s exhibits which had long been in place at the park. Utilizing a combination of text, graphics and artifacts the museum looks at Lincoln?s life in Indiana and how it influenced the growth and development of the boy who grew up to be president.
The museum is the latest accomplishment in the ongoing effort to improve the park's visitor information services. Other projects completed in recent years have included the production of a new orientation film and the placement of outdoor interpretive panels at selected locations throughout the park to provide important information about key features such as the gravesite of Nancy Hanks Lincoln.
Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial is located off of Indiana Highway 162 in Lincoln City, Indiana. Admission to the park, which includes the Lincoln Living Historical Farm, is $3.00 per person, age 17 and older, with a maximum charge of $5.00 per family. The receipt for admission is good for a period of seven days from the date of purchase. There is no charge for visitors who present a National Park Pass, Golden Eagle Passport, Golden Age Passport, Golden Access Passport, or an Annual Lincoln Boyhood Park Pass.
