Park Closed for Christmas and New Year?s Holiday
Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park will be closed, Sunday, December 25, 2005, in observance of the Christmas holiday and New Year?s Day, Sunday, January 1, 2006. The park visitor center, visitor parking lot, mountain road and access to Cheatham Hill via Cheatham Hill Drive will be closed as well. The visitor center and park grounds will reopen Monday, December 26, 2005 and Monday, January 2, 2006, for usual operating hours.
