Texas Missions Featured on PBS

Texas Missions Featured on PBS San Antonio Missions National Historical Park was featured in Missions of Texas which aired on the San Antonio/Austin Public Broadcasting Service channel KLRN December 7th and 10th.  The hour long program, which was produced by KLRN, told of Spain?s efforts to establish several mission communities in Texas during the 17th and 18th centuries. The majority of the program was about the park?s four missions Concepcion, San Jose, San Juan, and Espada. Program footage also included well known local historians and historical conservationists, as well as two of the park?s interpreters.
