The National Park Service at Weir Farm National Historic Site announces that the visitor center hours and tours will be changed for the winter and early spring off-season. From November 12th through April 30th, the visitor center will be open Thursdays through Sundays from 9:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (closed Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Admission is free. Guided tours of the artists studios will be offered at 11 A.M and at 1 P.M. on days that the visitor center is open. On Sunday mornings at 11:00 A.M., the park will continue to provide guided tours of the stone walls (weather permitting). The grounds of the Weir Farm National Historic Site are open to the public year round from dawn to dusk. Winter use of the grounds can include snowshoeing, cross-country skiing (there are no groomed trails), photography, and hiking.
