Director Visits with Mission Staff and Friends

Director Mainella came for a brief visit and to have lunch with park staff, VIPs, and the park’s friends group, Los Compadres, at San Antonio Missions National Historical Park on October 19, 2005.  She was in San Antonio attending the National Recreation and Parks Association Conference. The park’s Employee Association sponsored the barbeque lunch and attendees were rewarded with a question and answer period with Director Mainella.  In her closing statement she asked that people comment and provide feedback on the draft NPS Management Polices 2006 and Directors Orders 21, Donations and Fundraising, which are currently out for review. This marks her third visit to San Antonio Missions National Historical Park during her tenure as Director.
