Student Employee Network Issues Call For Applications

Are you an NPS employee? Are you enrolled as a student? Are you looking to develop leadership and team-building skills while networking with other student employees across the National Park Service? Consider joining the leadership team of the Student Employee Network (SEN), which is now accepting applications.

The current SEN leadership team is looking for highly-motivated student employees to serve as regional representatives and core team members. These network leadership positions help to organize and guide a resource-sharing network by student employees for student employees to maximize the learning and development potential of student employee work experiences.  Some of the projects SEN leadership team members have undertaken in the last year include:

  • Organizing social and networking events for student employees in their geographic areas
  • Developing an e-newsletter and social media presence to provide information resources to student employees
  • Conducting a service-wide employee satisfaction survey of student employees

The application for Leadership Team positions is available to all student employees and will be open until August 16th. You do not need to be in a Pathways position to apply – any NPS employee who is enrolled as a degree-seeking student is eligible. To apply, click on this link.
