Area National Parks Closed For Veterans Day and Thanksgiving

Superintendent Keith Newlin announces that both Allegheny Portage railroad National historic Site and Johnstown Flood National Memorial visitor centers will be closed Friday November 11 Veterans Day and also on Thursday, November 24, Thanksgiving Day. Newlin goes on to say “the park’s visitor centers will be open daily during the winter months from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.”
