Park Holds Open House

Keweenaw National Historical Park Superintendent Frank Fiala invites the public to an open house at park headquarters on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The open house will provide the public with an opportunity to meet park staff and learn about the park's role in preserving local history and heritage. Tours will be provided of both the former Calumet and Hecla General Office Building and the former Calumet and Hecla Public Library. Light refreshments will be provided by the Isle Royale Natural History Association. Keweenaw National Historical Park headquarters is located at the corner of Red Jacket Road and Calumet Avenue (U.S. Hwy 41). For directions, please call (906) 337-3168.
