Maintenance employee Samuel "Stimee" Boggs died unexpectedly during the early morning hours on Tuesday, September 4th.
Stimee began his National Park Service career with Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park in April 2009, where he worked on the park maintenance special projects crew until his death. He had completed one year in a two year Preservation and Skills Training (PAST) program, targeted at enhancing employee historic facilities preservation skills.
Stimee was highly regarded in the park and community and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his sister Cynthie "Cindy" Boggs Guthrie and two older brothers.
