Seneca Falls, NY - Women's Rights National Historical Park was affected by a storm cell which occurred during the afternoon of Tuesday, May 29th. High winds, heavy rains, and hail affected the areas in and near the park, resulting in downed power lines, trees, and tree limbs. A large chestnut tree located in front of the Elizabeth Cady Stanton House suffered severe damage. Due to the downed tree limbs and ongoing cleanup efforts, the Elizabeth Cady Stanton House will be closed until further notice. During this time Women's Rights National Historical Park will offer alternative programs at 11:15 am and 2:15 pm, daily, until the Elizabeth Cady Stanton House reopens for public programs.
