Calling All Teachers!

Women's Rights National Historical Park

National Park News

Seneca Falls, NY - Don't miss this exciting opportunity to work in a National Park this summer!

Women's Rights National Historical Park is recruiting for two teachers to work at the park this summer developing programs, activities, lesson plans, and traveling exhibits for use in the classroom setting.  Current, certified teachers will have the exciting opportunity to learn about the First Women’s Rights Convention and the suffrage movement while working at a National Park Service site. The selected teachers will then share their lesson plans and experiences with their students when they return to school. Teachers will also learn about the National Park Service, its mission, and the special places it preserves and protects.

ach teacher commits to dedicating 200 hours to complete required tasks.  A stipend of $2,400 is provided when the hours and projects are completed.
