National Park Service to host a “Fall Festival” at Greenbelt Park Greenbelt, Maryland - - The National Park Service, National Capital Parks-East, will host a “Fall Festival,” Saturday, October 8, 2005, from 12 noon to 5:00 p.m., at Greenbelt National Park, located in Greenbelt, Maryland.
The festival promises to be a fun-filled day for the entire family. Activities will include music for all ages, face painting, hayrides, and games; cotton candy and popcorn. Smokey the Bear and Woodsey Owl will make a special appearance. The festival is free and open to the general public. . Musical guests will include the sounds of jazz by Jubilee Band, Salsa featuring, Grupo Latino Continental and Oldies but Goodies artists, Bleu Lights. The Rainbow Company will present a play for the children.
