Staple Bend Tunnel Closed for Repairs

The Staple Bend Tunnel will undergo some repairs to insure the safety of visitors to the park. Due to a rock slide that occurred on September 10, 2005 the historic tunnel will be closed to visitors until repairs can be made. The trail to and from the tunnel will remain open for visitor use along with a short entrance area to the tunnel.
