FestiFall 2005

Friendship Hill National Historic Site

National Park News

As the autumn breezes move over the knoll of Mr. (Albert) Gallatin's mansion, Friendship Hill National Historic Site once again becomes alive with the sights and sounds of the life and times of the 18th century western country. From the post rider to smells of the ham and bean soup cooked over an open fire, not to mention period music, other period food and local artisans, all help transport us back in time. Activities geared for all ages.
FestiFal1 is an annual event sponsored by the Friendship Hill Association in cooperation with the National Park Service, held the last Sunday of September. The community and surrounding areas are invited to step back in time on Sunday, September 25th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., rain or shine.
Shuttle service from parking area to the knoll is provided for those needing assistance. The mansion is handicap accessible with restrooms. Animals must be on leashes.
Friendship Hill National Historic Site is located on Rt. 166 between Point Marion, PA and New Geneva, PA. For further information contact the National Park Service at (724) 725-9190.
