Details Fees will not be charged during the 2005 visitor season which begins May 23 and operates until October 31. National Park Passes, Golden Age and Golden Access Passports will still be available for purchase or issuance.
Due to a major rehabilitation project, the tour program at Martin Van Buren National Historic Site will be dramatically reduced this year. Access to President Van Buren's home which is currently unfurnished will be sporadic and limited.
There is no charge to walk the grounds which are available year round from 7:00 a.m. to dusk.
