Details
There is no entrance fee at Lincoln Home National Historic Site. When the Lincolns' only surviving son - Robert Todd Lincoln - donated his family's home to the State of Illinois in 1887, the deed stated that the "Lincoln Homestead...shall be, forever, kept in good repair and free of access to the public." While there is no entrance fee, we do encourage all visitors to support the park through donations, which can be made in the Visitor Center and in the backyard of the Lincoln Home after your tour.
