Creosote Bush, Prickly Pear Cactus, & Mariscal Mine

Creosote bush and prickly pear cactus grow amongst the ruins of the old mine buildings of the Mariscal Mine. The mercury mine was active in the early 20th Century. It is located along the River Road in southern Big Bend National Park.
