The advance of the Muldrow Glacier in times past did much to alter the landscape at the western end of Denali National Park. Here we see Wonder Lake, which was first scoured out by the advancing glacier and was then filled with meltwater from a stranded ice block after the glacier retreated to it's present position nearly 14,000 years ago.
