Aerial view northeast over the clouds to the three summits of the Snowy Mountain volcanic center. Peak 7090, the tallest summit, is a remnant of the west flank of Northeast Snowy, whereas Peak 6875 is a young lava dome filling the summit crater of that edifice. Peak 6600+ is the vent complex for Southwest Snowy, while Peak 6770 is an eroded remnant of that volcano's north flank. Mounts Denison and Steller, the next volcanoes northeast along the chain, appear on the right skyline.
